"24 Frames: A Physical Monologue", is a collection of experimental shorts created in 2011. A character study that tells a narrative not through dialogue, but through expressions and movement. A physical monologue differs from typical monologues or soliloquies, in that it doesn't rely on the spoken word to tell a narrative. Instead, the work strips away all the diegetic sound and forces the actors and the audience to rely on expression, movement, location and score to understand the narrative. The techniques and tools used for the "24 Frames" short film collection stem from director Solve Sundsbo's "14 Actors Acting", along with a combination of western cinema's sense of nostalgia, Fellini's dreaminess and focus on character, and a modern twist inspired by Gasper Noe.
